Homemaking and Companion Care Services
Giving or receiving care is not easy, that is why Home Health Solutions Group puts relationships first to support those who give care,
protecting the dignity of those receiving care, and to improve the quality of life for both clients and their family
members in every caregiving experience.
At Home Health Solutions Group we pay very close attention to the interactions between caregivers and care recipients.
We believe that the healing process starts at home, where support is needed most, focusing on helping our clients to regain their independence.
Caring for your aging parents is a new experience for many, and one that can be difficult while maintaining your own family and
work responsibilities. When an older relative is alone, you worry more and can experience a lot of guilt for not being there to
keep them company. Note that our employees that provide Companion and Homemaker Services cannot provide any personal care or skill nursing according to State law.
Although your loved one can live independently, you still worry about something happening.
After raising a family, an older person can get lonely in an empty house and you want to ensure a good quality of life.
When you cannot be there to perform daily tasks with your loved one, bringing in companion care can ensure they’re happy and healthy.
Companion care services from Home Health Solutions Group is primarily emotional support and companionship for clients who
are generally healthy and who want to remain independent at home and can include assisting with personal care, housework,
errands and can include any activities your loved one is passionate about
They can go for walks in the park, attend weekly yoga classes, go shopping at the mall and eat out if that is something that your loved one enjoys.
Your loved one will have someone to share these activities with and you will know someone is there to suggest a break, remind
them of medication, be sure they eat a nutritious meal and generally watch out for them, also includes a range of non-medical
services that help make your loved one life more manageable.
Homemaker Services are usually for clients living alone or are alone most of the day, who might be a little less active.
They can include housekeeping, meal preparation and all of the activities usually associated with running a household.
At earlier years, these tasks are a bit easier, but as your loved one age, keeping up with tasks can become more difficult.
Homemaker care services can include running errands or taking trips to the grocery store. They can help your loved one oversee maintenance workers and other contractors who might be called in to help with home
maintenance and repair. You will have peace of mind knowing that your loved one is not home alone
when contractors visit the house to do home repairs.
Preparing meals for the family might be enjoyable, but cooking alone can be a chore.
Many seniors suffer from poor nutrition because they don’t want to go through the trouble of preparing a
meal for one. With companion services, meal preparation can be fun again and eating can be a social time.
Providers employ individuals to do housekeeping, cook, run errands, and provide companionship to the elderly and adults with disabilities and people of all ages.
Maybe you have noticed Mom and Dad’s house starting to decline: counters are dirty, shelves undusted. On the other hand,
perhaps forgets to take medications. Whatever the signs, you are beginning to wonder if your loved one needs help
around the house. Companionship care Homemaking offer just that: nonclinical assistance for those who need it, without leaving the comfort of home.
The purpose of companionship care is to offer company, someone that you can trust to be with you and friendship.
